Established in Mackay in 1995, AJK Contracting purchased what was, at the time, a small, one man operated sand yard. Since then, the business has grown and diversified significantly over the last 23 years of operation.
As a locally owned and operated business, we have built a reputation for providing excellent customer service, high-quality products and delivering superior work on time and on budget. This is evident through continued business from our long-term clients, as well as the number of new clients we have acquired.
AJK offers a range of earthmoving services to Mackay and the surrounding regions. We also provide an up-to-date and well-maintained fleet of trucks and equipment for hire, along with a variety of landscaping and recycled materials.
Very early on in the business, AJK saw the need to provide a recycling service mainly targeting organic and waste inert materials. This led to further development approvals for Talty Road, Foulden, to allow for green waste, timber waste and concrete waste to be processed into usable, recyclable materials.
